4. Longsuffering (patience and kindness – 1 Corinthians 13)
5. Doctrine (teaching)

FORMS OF CORRECTION AND HOW TO CORRECT

• Teaching – Hebrews 5:15 – “ought to be teachers…need that one teach you…” (Matthew 28:19-20)
• Patience – Endurance
  • 1 Corinthians 13:4 (suffers long and is kind)
• Exhort – Warnings! Affirmation and comfort
  • Encouragement (1 Corinthians 14:3)
• Rebuke – Strong and stern disapproval
