#1) Information, Inspiration, and Transformation

My Concern:
Information is important: We’re in an information age!
2nd Peter 1:2-4 “Grace & Peace be…”
John 17:4 “And this is eternal life…”
2nd Tim. 3:7 “ever learning but never coming to the knowledge of God”
(1st Cor.8:1 Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies)
#2) Inspiration:
We’re obsessed with inspirational video’s
Ex. Cat video’s
Exodus 35:5 “Whosoever was of a willing heart…”
Verse 21) “Then everyone came whose heart stirred and everyone whose spirit was willing… brought their sacrifice
Matt. 26:41 “ The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”
But inspiration without transformation is nothing more than a New Years’ resolution!!
God uses information and inspiration, but His desire is transformation!
Rom. 12:2 “Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed…”
